The House
We are not just making headwraps. We are building founders.

A fashion house built by trained hands.
Gele Galore is not a factory. It is not a dropshipper. It is not a brand that sends designs overseas and hopes for the best.
Every wrap is handmade by a trained artisan who learned their craft inside the Gele Galore Artisan Cohort — a proprietary 10-week training program based in Augusta, Georgia. Every maker knows the construction from start to finish. Every piece meets a standard that Shamiria Bailey evaluates personally before it leaves the house.
This is what luxury handmade actually means.
The Gele Galore Artisan Cohort.
Ten participants. Ten weeks. One standard.
The Gele Galore Artisan Cohort is a free, professional sewing and textile training program that identifies talented makers in the Augusta community and trains them in the proprietary construction methods of the Gele Galore house. Graduates earn the Gele Galore Artisan Certification — a credential that qualifies them to produce for the brand.
But the program doesn't end at certification. Graduates enter a five-stage pathway that takes them from student to house artisan to — for those with the vision and commitment — founding their own line under the Gele Galore umbrella.
We are not just training sewists. We are building founders.
The inaugural cohort is now forming. Applications are reviewed personally by Shamiria Bailey.

From student to founder.
01 — Student: Ten weeks of hands-on training. Free of charge. Proprietary construction methods. Gele Galore Artisan Certification upon completion.
02 — Apprentice: Paid production work. Piecework compensation. Building speed, consistency, and trust with the house.
03 — House Artisan: Piecework plus revenue share on signature pieces. Your name behind what you make.
04 — Senior Artisan: Production plus instruction. Two income streams. Deepening understanding of the full business from the inside.
05 — House Founder: Your own product line under the Gele Galore umbrella. Built with an existing audience, production infrastructure, and a founder who already proved the model works.

The people behind the house.
Shamiria Bailey — Founder & CEO, Creative Director
Shamiria taught herself to sew after a cancer diagnosis in 2016 changed everything. She built Gele Galore from a single vow, a gifted sewing machine, and a vision that nothing on the market could show her. She holds the creative standard of every piece that leaves the house.
Jerry Bailey Jr. — COO, Operations
Jerry manages the logistics, scheduling, materials, and operational infrastructure that keeps the house running. He makes sure Shamiria can focus on the work that only she can do.
